Brake Fluid Supports Reliable Braking

The brakes in a car require all the many parts to work together harmoniously. The parts, however, do require assistance from a special hydraulic fluid. Much like motor oil’s relationship to an engine, brake fluid allows the parts in the braking system to perform reliably.

The various components comprising the braking system include the calipers, brake pads, rotors, wheels, and brake lines. The brake lines house a special hydraulic fluid. When the driver presses down on the brake pedal, the fluid creates pressure that supports how the braking system works.

Always be mindful of the brake lines. Rusted or damaged lines can leak fluid. Fluid leaks, in turn, could cause brakes to fail. A regular checkup can determine if there are any problems with the lines or fluid. Feel confident about your brakes when driving. Ask the service department at State Park Motors to perform any required work.
